"Stick Dial"
The dial of GMT-MASTER II has the “II” separated to form “ll”.
*The top photo is Ref. 116710LN, and the bottom photo is Ref. 16710.
It's a model that you can't tell unless you look closely at the dial (lol)
The 5-digit GMT Master II "Ref. 16710" has a D, Z, and M serial number.
The 6-digit model, 116710LN, has a stick dial mainly on the V number.
This is the 6-digit GMT Master II "Ref. 116710LN"
Here's a comparison shot of the stick dial (top) and the normal logo (bottom).
It just doesn't have any horizontal bars at the top or bottom.
This is the only point at which the price goes up.
I respect the person who first discovered this point (lol)
Next, we will introduce the dial variations of Ref. 16710.
The top is the stick dial,
A rectangular dial with short horizontal bars at the top and bottom in the middle.
The bottom is the normal dial.
There are fewer stick rectangular dials compared to normal dials,
I have the impression that it is relatively common in D, Z, and M numbers.
Looking at it this way,
The "G" in the GMT logo on the old and new stick dials is

And the font is exactly the same.

It is rare to find both the old and new stick dials together!!
