#352 ~ Comparison series! Single tritium! Introducing 4 Explorer II 16570 white dials!
Hello!
Kaneko from Commit Ginza will introduce some recommended watches!
Today we have 4 Rolex Explorer IIs!!
We have four Explorer II/Ref. 16570 with white dials in our shop,
Since I had the chance, I took some photos and compared them!
The model years are, from left to right, N, N, W, and T.
All the luminous material is tritium.
All buckles are single buckles.
First, let's look at the logo at the 12 o'clock position.
From the top they are N, N, W, and T.
At first glance, the dial looks the same,
In comparison, the font of the “II” in EXPLORER II, etc.
There are differences between them.
The second (N) and fourth (T) from the top are
The “E” in EXPLORER II is a long E.
interesting.
Next, I looked at the dot index.
Similarly, the numbers from top to bottom are N, N, W, and T.
The important points to note here are:
Only the bottom T number has a thick black border on the dot index.
The index looks more three-dimensional.
This was a small discovery for me personally.
If the black border is thick, the index will look a little small.
It will be a different face.
This is a photo of the Ref. 16570, which I briefly introduced on my blog previously .
The one on the left is S number and the one on the right is G number.
The G series has a thinner black edge on the index,
On the contrary, the dot index looks larger.
There are so many different dial specifications.
Finally, let me briefly introduce each of the four films!
