SOLD OUT!!

The Datejust "Ref.16003" was produced from around 1978 to around 1988.
While most Datejusts from the 80s have fluted bezels, this is a rare model with a smooth bezel that is rarely seen.
Although the design is similar to its successor model, Ref.16203, Ref.16003 is equipped with an acrylic crystal, making it a model that exudes a vintage charm.
As a hidden rare model of the 80s, perhaps some people are secretly looking for it.

This arrival is a model called "Buckley Dial", characterized by large printed Roman numerals and black hands.
This dial exists on 4- and 5-digit Day-Dates and Datejusts, and it's said to be called the Buckley dial because it was favored by the famous Rolex collector John Buckley.

While Buckley dials come in various colors, this one is a champagne dial!!
The champagne dial with black printed Roman numerals and black hands create a perfect match!
It exudes a classical atmosphere.

The dial and hands are in beautiful condition when viewed under a loupe.

There is a slight chip on the index at the 1 o'clock position, but the other luminous markers are well-preserved and in good condition.

The lume is all tritium.
The condition of the hands' lume is also excellent!

The combination of the YG combination case with a smooth bezel and the champagne Buckley dial is outstandingly good!
It's an incredibly cool watch with an undeniable aura!

Like Ref.16000, Ref.16003 is a reference that is rarely seen, but a smooth bezel is definitely appealing.
The sporty Oyster bracelet also matches perfectly!

The watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been polished at our affiliated workshop, so it is in generally clean condition!

As you can see, the middle case is in good condition, maintaining its original form!!

The lug edges are sharp, and the hairline finish is also in beautiful condition!
This case condition is very appealing!

The buckle clasp code is "H".

The bracelet, which matches the era, is also in good condition with only slight stretching!

Wrist shot!! Awesome... so stylish!!
The 36mm size is also great. Wearing a model like this casually shows great taste!

This is the popular Datejust dial "16003/Champagne Buckley '84" – a super rare 80s Datejust that you'd likely never find elsewhere!! The actual watch has even more presence than in the photos, so please come and see it in person! To customers looking for a stylish vintage Datejust, please consider this one.
