The third generation manual-winding Daytona "Ref. 6263" was manufactured from around 1969 to around 1988.

The push buttons became screw-down, increasing water resistance to 50m, and "OYSTER" was printed on the dial.
The "Ref. 6263" with a plastic bezel has just arrived.

The individual introduced here is a manual-winding Daytona that is almost entirely new, with the bezel, dial, hands, pushers, and bracelet replaced at a later date!

The dial is a small red service dial. It's interesting how there are size differences even among the "small" logos.

I've confirmed three types so far, and this small red features the largest Daytona logo among them.

Here's a comparison with the Ref. 6263 / Big Red (right). You can see that the width of the DAYTONA logo is completely different.

While the Big Red is more popular, the Small Red is more affordable, making it a recommended option for those looking for a manual-winding Daytona.

There are two types of Small Red, Tritium and Luminova, but this one has Luminova luminous material with "ONLY SWISS"表記.

As a result, the luminous material glows brightly, making this vintage Daytona highly legible!! It's fresh in a way, and also very practical!

Although it's a replacement dial, there are no missing luminous markers on the indexes, and the dial is in excellent condition.

The plastic bezel, a feature of the 6263, is also a service part. Although there are some minor scratches from use, the condition is good.

The case and bracelet have minor scratches from use, but the overall impression when held is good.

The original mid-case has some signs of polishing, but it is solid.

Although it has been replaced, the bracelet is also in good condition with no noticeable stretch!
