Today we are introducing the Ref. 6239, which is on special sale to commemorate the launch of COMMIT's new website, "COMMIT VINTAGE WATCH DICTIONARY," which specializes in vintage Rolexes.

This item is already on hold, but we would like to introduce it to you as it is a lovely model with a great atmosphere.

The first Daytona "Ref. 6239" manufactured from 1963 to the late 1960s

This particular watch has a tropical dial where the subdials have changed to brown over time.

The original sub-dials were black, but they have been beautifully transformed into brown.

The in-dials have changed to a stronger brown.
There are some unevenness and it is not a perfect brown, but this is also a unique feature of vintage items.

This is an individual that exudes an outstanding atmosphere.

The 12 o'clock side features a large "DAYTONA" logo.
The dial, which is seen on serial numbers 15 and 16, matches the age of this particular watch.

The dial of the Ref. 6239 changes from no logo ⇒ small logo ⇒ big logo ⇒ logo at 6 o'clock.

The bezel is a rare early model "300 tachymeter"

The hands of the sub-dial are also original.

The chronograph hand was an original part that matched the equilateral triangle hand.

When light hits it, the brown changes to an exquisite color and looks almost gold, giving it a very distinctive look!
It is a masterpiece that evokes the charm of vintage Rolex!
