SOLD OUT!!

The "Ref. 5513" is a long-selling model that was produced for about 27 years.
It underwent various minor changes, resulting in a model with a very wide variety of dial variations.
The non-bordered matte dial was manufactured from around 1967 to 1983,
and it's interesting how many dial variations there are, including Singer, Stern, Lemrich, etc.
The model I'm introducing today is an early Meter First, which is a rare element even among non-bordered dials!

"Meter First"
This is the earliest matte dial, produced from around 1967 to 1970, when the mirror dial transitioned to a matte dial to reduce light reflection.
It is characterized by the water resistance notation at the 6 o'clock position starting with 200m,
and is commonly known as "Meter First."

All other Ref. 5513 matte dials are feet first.
The aged tritium on this particular watch looks great.
The balance of the hands and indexes is also good.

The dial is attractive because, like the mirror dial, the luminous material reacts to green light when irradiated with tritium!!
This is an early Meter First that I rarely see these days.

The dial is in excellent condition, even under a loupe. It's truly rare to find a watch from around 1968 in this condition!!

The plump index lume has also changed to a beautiful cream color.

The Long 5 bezel insert, which matches the era, is also cool~!!
The condition is also superb!
This insert is also rare!!

The condition shows some scratches from use commensurate with its age,
but it is good for a vintage model!!

As you can see, the middle case is also solid!

The lugs are thick and the chamfers are beautifully preserved!!

A riveted bracelet definitely suits watches from this era!!

The buckle clasp is stamped 68.2.

The bracelet, which matches the era, is in excellent condition with little sagging!!
This condition for a rare Swiss rivet is a major plus!!

Prices also seem to be steadily rising!!

Wrist shot!!
This is a highly recommended piece that allows you to enjoy the taste of vintage!
It's rare to find such a well-preserved Meter First.

The popular old Submariner "Ref. 5513 Meter First" from 1968, an early matte individual with attractive rare parts such as the early Meter First dial, Long 5 insert, and rivet bracelet, all in good condition.
It is rare to find such an individual with excellent overall balance and a fantastic atmosphere!!
It is scheduled to be sold after overhaul at our affiliated workshop.
Customers looking for Ref. 5513 / early non-bordered dial, please consider it.
