We have just received the second-generation solid gold Submariner Date "Ref. 16808", which was produced from around 1980 to 1988 , so we'd like to introduce it to you right away!
The 1980s solid gold Submariner seems to be becoming less common these days,
As you can see, this specimen has some of the most discoloration.

It's rare to see a dial that changes so dramatically from the beautiful blue dial on the left.
We also carry several 16808s with variable dials,
This is the first time we've seen a dial that shows such an impactful change.

What do you think?
I can't simply say what color it is,
The entire dial has aged to a mysterious blue-gray or green color.

This is a unique dial that shows different expressions depending on how the light hits it.

There are some uneven colors, but strangely enough, am I the only one who doesn't find it unpleasant?
It truly exudes a unique presence.

This is a two-shot with another solid gold Submariner "Ref. 16808" with a barnacle-discolored dial.
Dials from this era have a variety of discoloration patterns, which is interesting.

The luminous material is all tritium.
The luminous hands have not undergone any particular modifications and remain in good condition.

The barnacle indexes sparkle when the light hits them,
It is beautifully burnt and combined with the variable dial it creates a nice atmosphere.

The condition is good, there are scratches on the case and bracelet,
There are no major scratches and the condition is good.

As you can see, the middle case is in excellent condition!
This is an individual that has maintained its original form.

This is a truly impressive cracking case!!
That's cool!!

Buckle clasp code is "F"

The bracelet, which matches the time period, also has some scratches,
It is in good condition with no signs of wear.

The edge lines of the bezel are also sharp!

Wrist shot!! So cool.
At this point, it's practically art!!
Enjoy a top-class change dial!!
