The third-generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1959 to around 1990
During the long manufacturing period, various changes were made to the specifications.
Vintage Explorer.
This is a very popular vintage model that always sells quickly in our store.
The products we have in stock this time are mainly the early matte dial/MK1, which was manufactured from around 1967 to 1973.
The MK1 dial features a crown mark in a font that resembles a frog's leg.
This dial is called "Frogfoot."
The crown mark is very cute and has the feel of a vintage model!
Incidentally, the MK2 dial of the 1655 (below) also has similar features to the Frogfoot.
I have the impression that there are many MK1 dials in poor condition due to their age, but
The dial of this watch is in relatively good condition.
The tritium luminous material has a beautiful burnt finish, giving this watch the charm that only a vintage model can have.
The luminous material is all tritium.
The hands have undergone natural aging.
This item has some scratches and scuffs due to use,
The case and bracelet are in good condition and highly recommended!
The case is sturdy and not overly finished.
7836/The condition of the winding bracelet is also good.
It maintains a crisp and beautiful condition.
The buckle clasp is engraved with the 4th period of 1970.
The bracelet is in good condition with only a little wear!
It's rare to find a bracelet in such good condition!
You have a great look on your face!!
It's wonderful!
Wrist shot!!
This is a beautifully burnt piece with tritium luminous paint that gives it an outstanding atmosphere!
It's the coolest model ever!
