El Primero-equipped Daytona "Ref. 16520" manufactured from R to P
This time we have a rare discoloration model called "Patrizzi Dial" in which the sub-dial has turned brown.
The name "Patrizi" comes from Antiquorum's founder, Oswald Patrizi.
It was pointed out that the subdials of Daytona Ref. 16520 watches manufactured between 1994 and 1995 were discoloring to a dark brown.
It is said that this came to be called the "Patrizzi dial."
There are many rare models of El Primero equipped Daytona,
Currently, the darker Patrizi models are available in the market just like the rare early models.
It's becoming extremely scarce.
This particular watch has a Patrizio dial with darkly burnt subdials.
It's not Darth Vader-like, but it's cooked to perfection.
This is a wonderful brown eye with a beautifully changing sub-dial that can be described as an artistic gradation.
I have the impression that the early models tend to have deterioration around the sub-dials, etc.
The dial is beautiful with no signs of deterioration.
Such a beautiful Patrizia dial is definitely rare!
The luminous material is all tritium.
The hands and index luminous material have a beautiful burnt finish!
If the sub-dial becomes darker and discolored,
Even if it's the same Ref. 16520, it's a completely different watch.
This retro atmosphere that you can't get with the current model is irresistible!!
This particular one definitely looks better in person than in the photo,
If you are interested, please come and see the actual product!!
And this individual, there are small scratches from use,
This is an excellent example with the bezel, case, and bracelet in excellent condition.
The middle case is in the condition you see here!
It's in great condition and has retained its original shape!
The lug feet look crisp and unpolished.
The hairline is also in good condition!!
A Patrizian with such a strong build is definitely rare!
The cool horn-like lug legs are still there!!
The period-matching crisp "MK5" bezel is also in excellent condition with sharp edges.
Even so, this specimen has a wonderful gradation change.
Cool.
The hard bracelet is crisp and in top condition with no signs of wear!
The buckle/clasp code is "V6" and matches the era.
The reflector seal remains in good condition on the back cover!!
Accessories include box, warranty card, chronometer tag, Daytona booklet (94), Oyster booklet (96),
It comes with extra links (full links) and a bezel cover.
The outer box comes with a 16520 reflector seal.
It's a white circle sticker, but that's part of its charm!!
Wrist shot!!
So cool!! This is truly artistic gradation!!
The ripped Patrizio is fascinating!!
Rare discoloration model "Daytona Ref. 16520 T-number Patrizio"
