This is Kaneko from Commit Ginza!

Rolex Explorer II All Tritium
Ref.16550 Serial.96 (manufactured around 1986)
Cal.3085 78360/FF501 Clasp Code G
Accessories: Main unit only
SOLD OUT!!
The second generation Explorer II "Ref.16550" manufactured from around 1984 to around 1988
This is a short-lived model, with a production period of just a few years.
The dial colors of "Ref.16550" are black, white, and ivory.
This time we are introducing a black dial that gives a sophisticated and rugged impression.
At first glance, it looks no different from the black dial of the Ref. 16570,
The Ref. 16550 is equipped with a more retro bezel,
The impression is different again.
The piece we are introducing this time has a pumpkin dial with beautiful tritium luminous paint.
What do you think? This intense tan!!
That's cool.

It is quite difficult to find a 5-digit Explorer II with a black dial that has such intense fading.
And it's cool (lol)
The dial has some deterioration typical of models from the 1980s,
The condition is relatively good.
The luminous material is all tritium.
There are cracks in the luminous hands, but the color matches the index.
The condition is good, there are scratches on the bezel, case, and bracelet appropriate for the age.
On the contrary, it has a rugged impression and a certain atmosphere.
The middle case does not have excessive finishing.

It is very sturdy.

It's rare to find a 16550/black lettering with such a deep burnt finish!!
Overhauls have also been completed at our affiliated workshop.
Customers looking for the 5-digit Explorer II with black letters with a great atmosphere,
Please consider it!
