Introducing the semi-vintage model of the 5-digit GMT Master "Ref. 16700"!!
The Ref. 16700 was produced from the R series (around 1988) to the A series (around 1999),
This is one of the early models manufactured around 1994.

The bezel has a black insert with serifs.
The insert was once more popular than Pepsi.
It seems that many of them have been replaced due to the rising price of Pepsi.
It seems that it's been a while since we've had this in stock at Commit.
The black insert is also cool and stylish.
It's hard to tell from the front, but
When tilted, it turns into a spider dial with marbled deterioration.

At Commit, we call this type of aging dial "Mab Spa."
It was Mr. Abe who first started calling it MabSpa for short (laughs).
Incidentally, Abe's favorite machine, the 14060, is also a MabSpa.
I think people's tastes will differ,
It will age naturally so you won't feel uncomfortable.
On the contrary, it is a dial that is strangely intriguing.

That being said, the tritium burn on this one looks really nice!!
It exudes a great atmosphere that is unique to semi-vintage models!
The GMT Master with strongly aged tritium luminous finish is
When you actually try to look for it, it's hard to find it.

The condition is that there are scratches and scuffs due to use,
The case is in good condition and has been maintained in a non-polished state.

The condition of the middle case is especially impressive!

The lug legs are thick and crisp!!
The lug legs with their striking edges are very attractive!

The hairline is also amazing!!
It is rare to find a case like this one manufactured in the early 90s.

The extremely thick lug legs that look like horns are very attractive!!

The single buckle is an essential feature of this semi-vintage model!
The clasp code is "W8" and is consistent with the era.
The bracelet is in good condition with almost no signs of wear!

There are plenty of accessories included too!!
Box, warranty card, serial tag, chronometer tag,
GMT booklet, Oyster booklet, calendar (94-95), extra frame (full frame)
We have it all!!

Wrist shot!!
Enjoy this Mabuspa/Patina model with its super cool black insert!

A popular semi-vintage model: the GMT-Master "Ref. 16700"
The marble-aged dial and burnt tritium create a unique look.
All accessories are included and the case and bracelet are in good condition, so I highly recommend it!
It's surprising how hard it is to find a Ref. 16700 with this kind of character!
If you are looking for a 5-digit GMT Master, please consider this one!
