The first Submariner Date/Ref.1680.
This is an early model produced from around 1969 to 1975, with the SUBMARINER logo in red, commonly known as the [Red Sub].
It is a classic model that boasts overwhelming popularity among vintage models,
The individual we are introducing this time is a recommended piece with consistent parts!
If you are looking for one, please check it out!

The dial is MARK5.
The "f" and "t" in the 660ft water resistance marking are on the same line,
It is a dial characterized by its open 6.
The Red Sub has many dial variations, but broadly speaking,
MK1 to MK3 are meter-first (200m=660ft display),
MK4 to MK6 are feet-first (660ft=200m display).

The dial condition is excellent,
It remains in beautiful condition even under a loupe.
Honestly, it's rare to find a Red Sub with such a beautiful dial condition.

The tritium lume on the indexes is also in beautiful condition,
There is a slight discoloration at the 8 o'clock position,
However, the overall atmosphere is not at all spoiled, and the condition is excellent.

The condition of the hand lume is also good!!
There is very natural aging,
However, there are no cracks or other defects, and it is in good condition.

The fact that it has a fat font MK3 bezel is also an attractive feature of this piece.
This insert is a big plus.

It's a cool insert with a slightly faded look.
*The luminous point shows some correction but does not glow.

The windshield is perfectly equipped with a chimney-type plastic windshield!

The case and bracelet have minor scratches commensurate with their age,
But the condition is good.

In particular, the middle case is in superb condition with sharp edges!!

How do you like it?
The thick and sharp lug shape is irresistibly cool on this piece.

The bracelet is a folded link bracelet, which is essential for Red Subs of this era.

The buckle clasp is stamped 72.3.

The folded link bracelet, which matches the age, has some stretch,
But it is also in solid good condition!

Wrist shot! What a great look!!
The tritium lume, which has creamed uniformly and beautifully, is captivating!

The iconic vintage Rolex model, "Red Sub Ref.1680/MK5"
The dial, lume, and case are all in superb condition,
It is a captivating Red Submariner with consistent parts!
When you encounter a Red Sub in such good condition, with all these features, it's your chance!
