It was produced from around 1980 to around 1988.
Second generation Submariner Date/Ref. 16800.
While inheriting the basic design from the first Submariner Date/Ref. 1680,
The windshield has been changed from plastic to sapphire glass.
It also has a unidirectional rotating bezel and a quick-change date function.
This model is now even more practical.
The model that has arrived this time is the early model "borderless" model.
The Ref. 16800 is divided into early and late models, with either a "borderless" version having no border on the index or a "bordered" version having a metal border.
The early model has a matte dial, giving it a more vintage feel!
Well, the item we are introducing this time has a beautifully burnt tritium luminous coating.
It's a pumpkin dial.
What do you think? This intense tan!!
It's cool...
Ref.16800 without rim,
It's rare to see a specimen that is so badly burnt.
The luminous parts, hands, and index luminous material are all evenly burnt!
The dial condition is also excellent.
It is in very good condition even when viewed through a magnifying glass!
The dial is good too,
The case and bracelet are in excellent condition!
The middle case is thick and has a great shape.
Check out this intriguing lug shape!
The hairline is also beautiful.
This is a high-quality item that we recommend to those who value individual items!
The bracelet has a clasp code "G".
It comes with a period-matching grooveless hard bracelet.
I'm amazed that this bracelet is in such excellent condition!
As you can see, there is almost no creasing!!
Accessories include a seahorse box and booklet!
Wrist shot!!
If you wear a model like this,
It's cool!
I would have to look twice (lol)
