Hello!

Kaneko from Commit Ginza will introduce some recommended watches!
Today we have a rare dial for a vintage Sea-Dweller.

Rolex Sea-Dweller MK2 All Tritium
Ref.1665 Serial.57 series (manufactured around 1978)
Cal.1570 Hard bracelet 93150/FF585 Clasp code G
Accessories: Main unit only
Retail price: 2,882,000 yen (tax included)

The first Rolex Sea-Dweller model, "Ref. 1665", has arrived!

Speaking of Sea-Dweller, it is a model equipped with a special mechanism called a "helium gas escape bubble" that automatically releases helium gas during saturation diving.

The early model of "Ref.1665" is famous for its "Red Seed" model, which has "SEA-DWELLER" and "SUBMARINER 2000" printed in red.
Today we are introducing a model that was manufactured from around 1977 to around 1983.
This model is known as "Great White" because the logo has been changed to a white logo.

Compared to the Red Seed, the Great White
I still recommend it because it's still available at a reasonable price.

The Great White dial is classified from MK0 to MK4.
The latest item in stock is the MK2 dial, which can be found on models made around 1978-1979.

If you look closely at the chronometer markings,
"SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER" on the top and "OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED" on the bottom
This is a rare dial known as a "center split" or "rail dial," which means that the spaces between the letters are aligned top and bottom.

The Ref. 1665 is already hard to come by, and even with that, it is rare to come across a rail dial.

Rail dials in particularly good condition are quite rare.

The dial condition of this unit is very good,
There are no noticeable scratches or stains and it is in excellent condition.

The index luminous material has changed evenly to cream and is in very good condition.

The condition of the luminous hands is also good.
There is a tiny crack in the luminous second hand, but it has not been repaired.

The bezel is an age-matched MK3.
There are some scratches, but the insert has a faded grey look!

The condition is age-appropriate with some scratches,
It's in pretty good condition for a vintage model!

The middle case is sturdy and does not have excessive finishing.

The "Ref.1665" has a thick bezel and a huge case!!
I love this side view because it gives off a unique feel that only a vintage model can have.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a rugged and cool model!!

Buckle clasp code is "G"
The buckle has been replaced in later years,
Since it is a grooveless buckle, the atmosphere is not particularly compromised.

The bracelet is in good condition with only slight wear.
It's quite sturdy!

Wrist shot!!
Rail dial features grey faded MK3 insert
This is an extremely cool item!

First-generation Sea-Dweller Great White Center Split "Ref.1665/MK2"
This is a vintage model with a casual coolness that is very appealing!
The rare rail dial is in good condition, and most of the parts are in good condition, making this a recommended item!
The overhaul has also been completed at our affiliated workshop!!
