The first Submariner Date/Ref.1680.
The item in stock this time was manufactured between 1969 and 1975.
This is the early model with the SUBMARINER logo in red, commonly known as the "Red Sub."
The dial is a period-matching MARK4.
The horizontal bars of the "f" and "t" in the waterproof rating of 660ft are not on the same line.
The dial features an open 6.
This is a highly recommended item with excellent dial condition!
However, many of the dials are damaged.
It's rare to find a red Sub in such excellent condition!
The index luminous material is also in good condition!!
The hands are later tritium hands and have slight natural cracks,
The balance with the luminous index is excellent.
The bezel is equipped with a period-correct MK3 insert.
The insert has scratches appropriate for its age,
It has a grey fade, giving it a vintage feel.
The condition is that there are scratches from use,
Scratches look great on vintage models!!
On the contrary, it exudes a good flavor!
The middle case is not overly finished and is very sturdy!
The bracelet is a slightly later 9315/winding bracelet,

Although there is some natural wear, it is in good condition for a vintage model.
