The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1959 to around 1989
During the long manufacturing period, various specification changes have been made.
It's a vintage Explorer.
The latest arrival is an early model with a circle mirror dial, which is rare.
This particular dial is one of the earliest mirror dials.
A track-shaped minute circle is printed along the outer edge of the dial.

I have the impression that mirror dials are becoming less common these days.
Among them, the circle mirror is a rare dial that is hard to come by even in our store.
The dial shows signs of aging overall.

What's more, there are moments when the gold letters on this dial shine with an indescribable orange hue due to the reflection of light, which makes it really cool!
