The first Sea-Dweller "Ref.1665"
This model was created in 1967 in partnership with the underwater research company COMEX!
This model is known as the Red Seed , as it has the words "SEA-DWELLER" and "SUBMARINER 2000" printed in red, which are found on some early models.
This is also known as "DRSD" (Double Red Seed Error) .
Akaseed was produced for about 10 years until around 1977.
This is a rare vintage model that is much less common than the red Sub.
This is a popular model that always sells out when it arrives in our store.
Today, another MK4 dial Red Seed set off on its journey.
The Red Sea-Dweller is classified into five types, including the prototype model MK0, up to MK4.
This is one of the most popular red seeds.
This is an MK3 dial manufactured between 1972 and 1974.
The MK3 is said to have a well-balanced design between the old and new lettering specifications.
I've been seeing them less and less recently.
The back cover features the MK3's characteristic "straight logo" .
The inside is engraved with the last three digits of the serial number and the 1972 first period.
Incidentally, it is said that a patent for a helium gas exhaust valve was granted in 1970.
The back of the watch manufactured before it was approved has the words "PATENT PENDING" on it.
After the patent has been approved, the back cover of the watch is engraved with "ROLEX PATENT."
The "Ref.1665" has a thick bezel and a huge case!!
I love this side view because it gives off a unique feel that only a vintage model can have.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a rugged and cool model!!
The bezel is in good condition with no signs of sagging!
This item has a dial in very good condition!
There are some very small scratches, but it remains in good condition even when viewed with a magnifying glass.
The index luminous material is slightly burnt but is in good condition with no noticeable stains or chips.
The luminous hands are also beautifully lit!!
The balance with the luminous index is perfect!
The grey faded bezel insert features a bold MK3!!
As expected, this bezel insert is a perfect fit for the 70s models!!
There is a scratch at the 27 minute mark, but it does not detract from the atmosphere at all.
*Luminous points will glow.
The condition is that there are scratches due to use,
The case is in very good condition!
The condition of the middle case in particular is excellent.
It's in great condition with firm edges!
This crisp lug shape is very attractive!
The hairline is also in good condition!
It's rare to come across such a hardy specimen in red seeds!
Buckle clasp code is "VC"
The bracelet is a later grooveless hard bracelet.
The bracelet is wrinkled, but there are no noticeable scratches.
Wrist shot!!
The burnt MK3 dial and the cracked case are so cool!!
This is a DRSD with a great atmosphere!
A rare vintage model! Red Sea-Dweller "Ref.1665/MK3"
The grey faded bezel and burnt MK3 dial create a unique look!
The crisp, snappy case is also very attractive and gives a good impression when you hold it in your hand.
This is an MK3 dial that is hard to come by, so if you're looking for it, don't miss out!
If you are looking for a rugged vintage model , please consider this one.
