This is an early model of the Daytona equipped with El Primero!
Rolex Daytona Black El Primero Reverse 6 All Tritium
Ref.16520 Serial.N (manufactured around 1991)
Accessories: Box, warranty card (stamped November 1992, Hong Kong)
International Service Warranty (stamped January 2014, stamped October 2004)
SOLD OUT!!
Daytona with El Primero , manufactured from R to P, "Ref. 16520"
The model we are introducing this time has a tritium dial that has the characteristics of the early model!
Commonly known as the "reverse 6 dial"
At 6 o'clock, the number "6" on the 12-hour counter is inverted to look like a "9".
This is an early dial produced up to the S number, known as the "reverse 6" or "inverted 6" .
It is also called "INVERTED 6" overseas.
This model,
It's like they're casually hitting the points...
It's actually pretty cool (laughs)
I also love this model!
We happened to have a W-numbered "normal 6" dial in our store, so we took some photos and compared them.
On the left is the "reverse 6" and on the right is a slightly brown W number.
*The Daytona number W is a display item.
*The top is N number, the “reverse 6”, and the bottom is W number, the “normal 6” .
The number "6" is inverted to look like a "9" .
Do you understand?
This is a point that you won't notice unless you look closely,
It seems that the reputation of the "inverted 6" dial has risen significantly in recent years .
*The top is N number, the “reverse 6”, and the bottom is W number, the “normal 6” .
Incidentally, the inverted 6 isn't the only feature of the early dials.
The "reverse 6" we are introducing this time has a 4-type dial,
Compared to the W-number 5-type dial
The font on the inset dial is also completely different!
This kind of specification change is also an interesting point.
The buckle is a single buckle .
This item has a "MA" clasp code, so it can be used as a replacement single buckle.
The single buckle is an essential feature of the “inverted six” .
Personally, I like the inverted 6 dial.
The matte stainless steel single bracelet gives it a more retro feel.
I think it's cool!!
The "Single Tritium" Daytona is the same as other sports models.
I'm attracted to it.
The product we are introducing this time comes with a wide range of accessories!
I'm happy just to have the box (with 16520 Ref. seal), warranty card, and Daytona booklet,
Other accessories are also available.
Although it is not shown in the photo, a calendar from that time is also included.
The Daytona booklet is also the original from that time!!
Finally, a wrist shot!!
So cool!! So stylish!!
El Primero-equipped Daytona Ref.16520 "Reverse 6 Dial"
This is an early model of the tasteful 16 Daytona.
This watch has some small scratches and some ink spots on the bezel (type 4),
The all-tritium "inverted 6" dial gives this watch an outstanding look!
It also comes with a wide range of accessories, so I highly recommend it!
