The first model of Rolex Sea-Dweller, "Ref. 1665", has arrived!
The Sea-Dweller is known for its special mechanism that automatically releases helium gas during saturation diving.
This model is equipped with a helium gas escape bubble.
The case back features the patented trademark
It is engraved with "ROLEX PATENT OYSTER GAS ESCAPE VALVE".
"Ref.1665" is the early model "SEA-DWELLER" and "SUBMARINER 2000".
The model known as the Red Seed , which is printed in red, is famous.
Today's introduction is a new logo that has been changed to a white logo.
This model is commonly known as "Great White."
The Great White dial is classified into MK0 to MK4.
This is the small, unitalicized "ft" waterproof notation.
It features the distinctive MK1 dial.
Even among Great White models, the MK1 dial is quite rare!
I have the impression that I see them less and less recently.
The luminous hands have been replaced with Luminova hands.
The atmosphere hasn't been compromised at all!
The most attractive feature of this particular model is undoubtedly the bezel insert.
It is equipped with an exquisitely faded brown MK3 bezel from the 1970s!
The luminous points are aftermarket parts, but this bezel insert is cool!
I'm sure this bezel alone is worth hundreds of thousands of yen.
The condition is age-appropriate with some scratches from use,
The middle case is in excellent condition!
There are scratches, but the Sea Dweller is a model with a strong rugged impression,
Strangely enough, the scratches look good on it.
As you can see, the rug legs are thick and very sturdy!
These impressive rug legs are very attractive!
The "Ref.1665" has a thick bezel and case that just won't fit!

The dome-shaped plastic windshield also looks great!
I occasionally see watches with replaced back covers,
This one is totally original!
The bracelet 93150 with a non-grooved buckle is also likely an original from that time.
The clasp code is "A" and has the earliest engraved letter, which is rare to see!
