The Day-Date is Rolex's highest-end model, available only in gold and platinum.
This is the first model that allows you to change the day of the week in addition to displaying the date.
This is a 182 series Day-Date.
The model number is "18248".
The bezel and bracelet are finished with a finish commonly known as "bark".
This is a discontinued Day-Date model.
By the way, the 180 series Bark is "18078".
Bark refers to the bark of a tree, and is characterized by its fine, deep veined decoration.
It creates a unique design that resembles the surface of fine wood.
Still, this design has some flair.
This fine shine is what makes it so appealing and different from the regular model.
