The solid gold Datejust model "Ref. 16238" has arrived!
When it comes to solid gold dress models, Day-Date arrivals are overwhelmingly common, but this is a solid gold Datejust with a lovely Jubilee bracelet.
This arrival features an exceptionally rare Stella dial, which has an extremely low circulation volume.
When you hear "Stella dial," you usually think of the Day-Date, but it exists for the Datejust, too!
It is a rare dial that you rarely ever get to see.
The dial is a navy blue, the same as the Ref.18039/Stella we had in last time.
When viewed head-on, it looks like a deep navy dial, but it takes on a completely different appearance when light hits it.
It’s such a beautiful color; I really want you to see it in person!
The lettering is created by exposing the base layer rather than printing, making for a magnificent dial reminiscent of a mirror dial. Since it is solid yellow gold, the base layer is gold.
There are some minor scratches on the dial, but it has been kept in very good condition for a piece manufactured around 1989!!
There is one spot where the luminous material is missing, but otherwise, it is in quite good condition.
The all-tritium luminescence has also developed an exquisite patina, which looks very cool!
This is an excellent piece that maintains superb case and bracelet condition!!
There are scratches on the bezel and middle case, but the overall impression is excellent, and it is in wonderful condition!

The hairline finish is also in a beautiful state.
The bracelet has a tiny bit of stretch, but it is in outstanding, sharp condition!!
Of course, the clasp code also matches the period!!
