Today we are introducing the Datejust "Thunderbird" Ref. 16263 with a rotating bezel!
The nickname "Thunderbird" comes from the fact that it was specially ordered as a retirement commemorative model for Colonel Don Ferris, commander of the U.S. Air Force's acrobatic team, the Thunderbirds.
Champagne, black, gray, white, blue, ivory pyramid, etc.
This model has a wide variety of dial colors.
It is no exaggeration to say that the product we are introducing this time is almost never available.
This is a rare dial!
This dial color is called "Sepia Brown".
Have you all seen it before?
The champagne has not changed color,
The original dial was a brown color like this.
When photographed like this, it looks the same color as the Rolex pillow!!
This is a rare dial also known as "bronze" in Rolex!
What's attractive about this rare dial is that it has ivory letters!
The ivory color creates a wonderful atmosphere!
The luminous material is all tritium.
It's U number, so it's the last tritium!
There is a missing part at the 3 o'clock position,
Overall it is in good condition.
The yellow gold of the rotating bezel and the creamy brown dial are a perfect match!
The engine turned bezel also gives off a retro vibe and is a great touch!
The bezel has some small scratches, but is in relatively good condition!
The condition is good, with some scuffs and scratches from use, but it is still in good condition.
The middle case has a slight polished feel,
There is no excessive finishing!!
The oyster bracelet is only slightly wrinkled!
Accessories include box, warranty card, serial tag, chronometer tag,
Comes with a Datejust booklet, calendar (01-02), and extra links (full links).
Wrist shot!! A rare example with a sepia brown dial!!
This dial is so stylish!!
