Good evening everyone!
Approximately 100 well-known collectors, dealers, shop owners, auctioneers, etc. from around the world will gather to showcase their collections and deepen their networking.
[VRA][VRA]. For the first installment, we have picked out the hand-wound "Daytona," so please enjoy!
"Daytona" "Ref.6265/8 "
The "Ref. 6265/8" is made using 18KYG (yellow gold), which is considered to be particularly rare among manual-wound "Daytona" watches.
The gold and black contrast of this model is extremely cool, and it is an excellent piece with little signs of use. The case and bezel are unpolished, making it a superb product that truly embodies the "sharp and crisp" piece that Kaneko always talks about.
Moreover, as if to prove this, the reflector seal on the back cover is still in good condition and there is almost no sign of use. In addition, all the accessories were also in perfect condition, making this an excellent item.
There are very few solid gold manual-winding Daytona models in existence, so it's almost impossible to come across one, but to be able to see one in such mint condition is just amazing.
"Daytona" "Ref.6265" "Paul Newman" dial
The "Paul Newman" dial of the third-generation hand-wound "Daytona" Ref. 6265, said to be the most popular vintage Rolex.
The production period was short, making it more rare than other models. What's more, this particular model has a very rare feature: the "Mystery Cross" is engraved on the back cover!
This "Mystery Cross" is a marking that has been shrouded in mystery even among collectors, but it was actually engraved for the Swiss Mountaineering Foundation to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the failed attempt by Swiss climbers accompanied by Tenzing Norgay to summit Everest, and there are only three known pieces in the world with this marking (all "Ref. 6265"). I am overwhelmed with emotion to have come across such an extremely rare item, that it is an auction piece "Paul Newman" and there are only three in the world!
"Daytona" "Ref.6240 " "Tropical" dial
The rare "Ref. 6240" is said to have been manufactured in the few years before the birth of the third generation hand-wound "Daytona" "Ref. 6263" and "Ref. 6265".
This is a rare watch that is said to have been produced in very limited numbers and is called the prototype of the third generation "Daytona" that adopted a screw-lock type push button. The dial is the most attractive feature of this watch, and it is equipped with a so-called "tropical dial" that has changed from black to brown over time. The color change is truly exquisite, and it has such an outstanding atmosphere that you could look at it for hours.
Daytona "Ref.6265 " "Conjour" dial
The third generation hand-wound Daytona, Ref. 6265, is printed with the Omani national emblem, the 'Khanjar (dagger)'.
The "Conjure", which is only available in Oman in the Middle East, is available in models other than the Daytona, but all of them are rare and have become auction pieces.
The condition of the case and dial was excellent, with no chipping of the luminous material, and it was simply amazing. It is extremely rare to find a watch in this condition with such rare features .
"Daytona" "Ref.6263 " "Desert Eagle" dial
The Daytona "Ref. 6263" "Desert Eagle" was produced in the mid-1970s at the request of the King of Dubai.
This watch has a strong presence, with the UAE (United Arab Emirates) emblem printed at the 12 o'clock position on the dial and the store's name "Wazarah Ad Difa' A department" printed in Arabic at the 6 o'clock position. The number of units produced was very small, and only about 30 were sold apart from those distributed to those involved at the time. This is an extremely rare, top-grade model that you would not normally be able to see.
What did you think.
I think all of the watches were extremely rare models worthy of being auction pieces. It was a little misleading to see so many rare watches in one place, but I think it would be a great success if you could see even one of the watches we introduced today. I'm really happy to have had this opportunity, and I hope to use my experience to convey as much information as possible so that everyone can fall in love with watches even more.
We will continue to introduce more and more super rare specimens next time, so please look forward to it!
see you!!
