Today we will be sending you the 2023 edition of the mechanical watch "5 recommended models of the Omega Speedmaster."

The Moon Swatch was released last year and is still very popular even after about a year. According to Nick Hayek, CEO of the Swatch Group, "more than one million have already been sold," but it is still difficult to get hold of, and there is a constant line in front of the Fiat at the Nicolas G. Hayek Center in Ginza. Perhaps due in part to the Moon Swatch craze, sales of Omega's iconic watch, the Speedmaster, are also going strong. It seems that the Swatch Group's strategy has paid off.

So, this time, for those who are interested in the original " Speedmaster ", we would like to introduce " 5 " carefully selected recommended models! Please enjoy until the end.

*This list is based on our store selling prices as of March 2023.

"Speedmaster Apollo Soyuz 35th Anniversary Limited Edition" "Ref.311.30.42.30.99.001"

The year 1975 marked the end of the space race when the American Apollo and the Soviet Soyuz successfully docked in space. 35 years later, in 2010, this Ref. 311.30.42.30.99.001 was released in a limited run of 1,975 pieces. The greatest attraction is the dial made of meteorite, and the two-tone dark gray and silver is simply beautiful. The case back features a relief of the docked Apollo and Soyuz, giving a sense of the history of space development. It seems that the number of these watches in circulation is decreasing year by year, so it might be a good idea to get one now.

● Estimated budget: around 3,000,000 yen

② "Speedmaster Moonwatch" "Ref.310.63.42.50.10.001"

The Ref. 310.63.42.50.10.001, announced as a new product in 2022, features a beautiful Moonshine Gold x Green coloring. Moonshine Gold is a material developed by Omega in 2019, inspired by the light of the moon shining in the dark blue sky, and is made by adding 18KYG (yellow gold) to silver, copper, and palladium. It has a pale color that is not too assertive, and is also resistant to changes over time. The bezel and dial are made of deep dark green, giving it a calm impression. The ceramic bezel features a dot over 90 (dot above 90), a design that tickles the hearts of enthusiasts. It seems that there have been very few in circulation since the announcement, so if you are interested, you may want to grab it as soon as you find it.

● Estimated budget: around 3,500,000 yen

➂ "Speedmaster Moonwatch CK2998" "Ref.311.63.40.30.02.001"

The Ref. 311.63.40.30.02.001 is a reprint of the 2nd model of the Speedmaster, Ref. CK2998 (introduced in 1959). The Ref. CK2998 was worn by astronaut Walter Schirra in 1962 and is widely known as the first Omega to go into space. The watch we are introducing this time is a limited edition model released in 2015, and it is a watch that revives the attractive Moonwatch of the time with the contrast between the brown color and silver opaline, the alpha hands, and the seahorse emblem on the case back. The clean design without a crown guard gives it a vintage feel, and any man would find it cool. It is a rare numbered edition model that was produced for only one year, so you may not be able to avoid a scramble to buy it.

● Estimated budget: around 2,000,000 yen

④ "Speedmaster Caliber 321" "Ref.311.93.42.30.99.001"

*Source: https://www.commit-watch.co.jp/buyer/watches/mens/omega/speedmaster-calibre321-275605/

The Ref.311.93.42.30.99.001 is equipped with the famous Cal.321 movement, and is made of platinum (PT) with an onyx dial and meteorite sub-dial. This was the first reissue of the Cal.321, released in 2019, and the dial is made of rare meteorite, a lunar meteorite, making it a watch that strongly evokes Omega's feelings for the moon. The platinum case creates a sense of solidity, bringing out the presence of the onyx x meteorite dial. This model is rarely seen on the secondary market, so if you get your hands on it, it will be a lifetime purchase.

● Estimated budget: around 6,800,000 yen

⑤ "Speedmaster Caliber 321" "Ref.311.30.40.30.01.001"

*Source: https://www.commit-watch.co.jp/buyer/watches/mens/omega/speedmaster-287557/

The last one is the "Ref.311.30.40.30.01.001", a reissue of the famous "Cal.321" like the fourth one. This watch, which follows the design of the third model of the "Speedmaster" that became famous in 1965 when "Ed White" wore it during the first American spacewalk, became a hot topic among watch enthusiasts with its white enamel tachymeter scale, polished black ceramic bezel, black dial, etc. By the way, it is also the first model of the "Speedmaster" equipped with "Cal.321" to adopt a see-through back. Although it seems that not many are being supplied to the secondary market, the market price has calmed down a bit compared to the period when it was soaring, so if you have been aiming for it, now may be your chance.

● Estimated budget: around 2,800,000 yen
