The watch Mr. M.K purchased is the "Ref. 15450ST.OO.1256ST.01," which was released in 2012 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the "Royal Oak."

This model, with its refreshing silver dial featuring a grand tapestry pattern, has a slightly smaller case size of 37mm, making it a comfortable fit for Japanese wrists. It is equipped with the "Cal. 3120" movement, offering a power reserve of approximately 60 hours, making it a piece that combines not only design but also practicality.

WATCH DETAILS

[Rolex] "Submariner Date" "Ref.16610LV"

The watch Keisuke-san purchased is the "Submariner" "Ref. 16610LV," a 50th-anniversary model with a captivating green bezel.

This model, introduced in 2003, features larger indexes and hands than the "Ref. 16610" produced concurrently, significantly improving legibility.

Among them, this particular piece is a superb example with rare features from the very early production, known as the "lime bezel" where the bezel has faded to a pale green, the "flat 4" where the numeral 4 on the bezel is trapezoidal, and the "big Swiss" where the "SWISS MADE" inscription at 6 o'clock on the dial is larger.

As we are the same age, the conversation flowed naturally, almost as if we had met before.

In fact, the impetus for this purchase was very heartwarming: it began when you watched my YouTube Live broadcast featuring the "Ref. 16610LV." You had apparently watched that video many times to prepare, and hearing that truly delighted me.

You came in debating between the current "Ref. 126610LV" and the "Ref. 16610LV." I happened to assist you, and as I re-emphasized the charm of the "Ref. 16610LV," you appreciated the unique atmosphere and character of a semi-vintage piece, which led you to decide on this particular watch.

Keisuke-san is a very humble and sincere person. During our conversation, I learned that he attended a high school in Nagano Prefecture that I knew, and we even discovered the commonality that I had played soccer against his school in high school. By the way, Keisuke-san mentioned he practiced judo. We had a lively discussion about Nagano Prefecture, and I personally had a very enjoyable time.

He actually shared that his second child had just been born around the time he purchased this watch, and he mentioned he was going to pick up his wife and child, starting a new life. His excited expression was truly memorable. I am genuinely happy that he chose this watch for such a wonderful milestone in his life.
