ROLEX
EXPLORER II
Reference 16570
The watch that Mr. D purchased was a rare Rolex Explorer II "Ref. 16570" with a black dial.
This is a semi-vintage model that features an all-tritium luminous finish and a single buckle, but the reason it's so rare is that there are far fewer single tritium black dials compared to white dials, and in addition to the center split notation present in the early serial numbers, the second hand has a dot tip specification that existed until the early 1990s. Furthermore, the center split on black dials is almost always a spider dial, but this particular watch has been kept in very good condition with no cracks!

Double Blue Sub Shot
Reference 16613, 16803
The watch that HM purchased was the beautiful Rolex Submariner Ref. 16613 with a violet dial.
This model, commonly known as the "Blue Sub," is overwhelmingly popular among the many combination models. The sunburst blue dial is extremely beautiful, and the violet dial, seen in early production models, where the blue dial changes color to purple over time, is one of the details that enthusiasts covet. The violet dial and burnt tritium luminous indexes create a truly outstanding atmosphere!

The watch that HI purchased was a Rolex Submariner Ref. 116610LV in the company's corporate color green, which was discontinued with the release of the new model in 2020.
This model is equipped with a ceramic bezel that is highly resistant to corrosion and scratches, and retains its vibrant color for a long time. Other than the coloring, it has the same specifications as the "Ref. 116610LN (black)", but is more popular than the black version.

The watch that YT purchased was the new Rolex Explorer I, Ref. 124273, the first model to feature a combination specification.
The first 18KYG (yellow gold) combination model of the Explorer has a simple look with an added elegance, giving it a new look. It has returned to the traditional 36mm diameter case, and the lug width is narrower and sharper than the model from two generations ago, giving it an overall stylish impression. It is also equipped with the high-spec [Rolex] patented movement "Cal.3230" that achieves a 70-hour power reserve.
