Whether you own a luxury watch or not, you have probably wondered at least once, "Which model is popular?" While everyone has their own motivations, such as "I want a popular classic model!" or "I want a model that no one else has!" , it is difficult to know which models are actually popular unless you get real-time information.
So this time, we will be revealing the top 5 brands that Commit Ginza (hereafter referred to as our store) handled in the first half of 2025 from among multiple brands! Please enjoy reading the list while imagining the rankings with us.
5th place
Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda GT "Ref. PFS910-1020006-100182"
In fifth place is the Tonda GT, limited to 100 pieces, Ref. PFS910-1020006-100182, which will be released in 2023.
The luxury sports watch "Tonda GT" was created by Davide Traxler, who became CEO of Parmigiani Fleurier in 2018. This is a rare watch that features an ice blue dial that is not available in the regular model. It has a beautiful design with a big date at 12 o'clock, a small second at 6 o'clock, and guilloche decoration. In addition, the automatic movement "Cal. PF044" has a 45-hour power reserve and is waterproof up to 100m, making it a watch that is sufficient for everyday use. It is also relatively inexpensive, so it is recommended.
4th place
Zenith Chronomaster Sports "Ref.03.3105.3600.52.M3100"
In fourth place is the Chronomaster Sports "Ref. 03.3105.3600.52.M3100," which was released in 2022 in a limited edition of 250 pieces.
This watch has a refreshing aqua blue dial with an aqua blue sub-dial of the same color, and is equipped with a new version of the most famous movement, the El Primero 3600 caliber, and the see-through back cover allows you to see the open rotor decorated with the Zenith star and the intricate movement. In addition to the dial color not available in the regular model, the limited number of units sold means that this rare model is highly popular and sold out in an instant.
3rd place
Credor Locomotive "Ref.GCCR999"
Coming in third place is the Locomotive Ref. GCCR999, which will be released in 2024 as a limited edition of 300 pieces worldwide (200 of which will be in Japan) to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the birth of Credor.
The Locomotive was developed based on Gerald Genta's hand-drawn sketches and was named with the hope that it would lead Credor and become a model that will carry the future. The hexagonal case with a locomotive motif and the bezel with six screws are the main features that are characteristic of Gerald Genta. In addition, the grayish black dial, inspired by steam locomotives, has about 1,600 lines engraved by machine one by one, creating a delicate pattern like the steam spewing from a locomotive . Another point is that it is equipped with the thin automatic movement "Cal. CR01" exclusively for Credor, which is specially designed with gold plating and temper blue screws. The elegant design, combined with the rarity of being a limited edition model, makes this a popular model that many people are looking for.
2nd place
Tudor Black Bay Chrono "Ref. 79360N"
Coming in second place is the popular Black Bay Chrono "Ref. 79360N" model, which features a black aluminum bezel and two counter-in-dial contrast in a "panda" color scheme.
Released in 2021, this chronograph with a rugged 41mm case has a design reminiscent of the Chronotime and Rolex Daytona. The movement is the same Cal. MT5813 as the already discontinued Ref. 79350, and has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The Ref. 79360 is available in three types: bracelet, band strap, and fabric strap, but the most recommended is the versatile bracelet version. The dial color is white, commonly known as the "panda dial," and a bold black, and it is a recommended watch with a stable price.
1st place
Chopard Alpine Eagle 41 "Ref. 298600-3001"
Taking the honorable first place is the Alpine Eagle Large (Ref. 298600-3001), which pays homage to the St. Moritz, the first watch created in 1980 by Chopard co-president Karl-Friedrich Scheufele.
The most distinctive feature of this model is the Aletsch blue dial with galvanic processing, which is said to be inspired by the iris of an eagle. The case and bracelet are made of "Lucent Steel A223", which took four years to develop, and is about 50% harder than "316L", which is commonly used for regular SS (stainless steel). Furthermore, it is anti-allergic, so it is highly recommended for those who want to use it frequently or those who have metal allergies. Why not take this opportunity to get your hands on a luxury sports watch that combines beautiful design and practicality?
