Whether you own a luxury watch or not, you have probably wondered at least once, "Which model is popular?" While everyone has their own motivations, such as "I want a popular classic model!" or "I want a model that no one else has!" , it is difficult to know which models are actually popular unless you get real-time information.

So this time , we will be revealing the top 5 OMEGA models handled by Commit Ginza (hereinafter referred to as our store) in the second half of 2023! Please enjoy reading the list while imagining the rankings together with us.

5th Place
"Speedmaster Commemorative Model Chronograph 42MM" "Ref.522.30.42.30.04.001 "

In fifth place is the Speedmaster Tokyo 2020, Ref. 522.30.42.30.04.001, a limited edition model of 2,020 pieces released to commemorate the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The combination of the opaline silver dial, black sub-dial panda dial, and black aluminum bezel is very sporty, and it is equipped with a classic design that will move any man at least once. The caseback is embossed with "TOKYO 2020" and the Tokyo Olympics logo, and in addition to the limited edition black-based version, there are five other colors in the same vein as the Olympic symbol: blue, yellow, green, and red. You can choose your favorite color based on ease of use, or collect all the colors as a collection, making this a watch full of fun.

4th Place
"Seamaster 300 Co-Axial Master Chronometer 007" "Ref. 210.90.42.20.01.001 "

In fourth place is the special model "Seamaster 300 Co-Axial Master Chronometer 007" "Ref. 210.90.42.20.01.001", which has the exact same design as the Seamaster worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond in "No Time to Die", which will be released in October 2021.

This watch, one of the classic timepiece trilogy released in 1957, strongly reflects the vintage feel in its design, but is said to reflect the wishes of Daniel Craig, who is also a collector of vintage Omega watches. The case back is engraved with authentic British military specifications, including the "Broad Arrow" mark, which indicates that the watch is a British military supply, the numbers "0552" and "923 7697", which indicate that the watch is a naval diver's watch, the "A" which indicates a screw-down crown, and the "007" code number, which needs no explanation, with the "62" indicating the year the first film in the series, "Dr. No", was released (1962). This is a must-have for fans of the "007" series and watch lovers.

3rd place: Seamaster Diver 300M Co-Axial Master Chronometer 42MM "Ref.210.30.42.20.03.002 "

In third place is the Seamaster Diver 300M "Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.002," which was released as a collaboration model to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the birth of the movie "007" in 2022 .

This watch, with its striking deep blue bezel and dial, was created based on the Ref. 2541.80 worn in "007/GoldenEye". While the regular "Seamaster Diver 300M" uses ceramic for the bezel insert, this model uses aluminum, giving it a new yet vintage feel. In commemoration of the 60th anniversary, the unidirectional rotating bezel has a "60" scale printed at the 12 o'clock position (the regular model has a luminous capsule and a triangular mark), and the see-through back glass features a silhouette of James Bond and the number "60", making this a very special piece.

2nd Place
"Speedmaster Caliber 321 Chronograph 39.7MM"
"Ref.311.30.40.30.01.001
"

In second place is the reproduction model "Speedmaster Caliber 321" "Ref. 311.30.40.30.01.001", which is equipped with the famous "Cal. 321" movement.

This watch, which follows the design of the third model of the Speedmaster, which became famous when it was worn by "Ed White" during the first American spacewalk in 1965, features a white enamel tachymeter scale, a polished black ceramic bezel, and a retro black dial. Incidentally, it is also the first Speedmaster model equipped with the "Cal.321" to feature a see-through back. Although it seems that not many are being supplied to the secondary market, the market price has calmed down a bit compared to the period when prices were soaring, so if you have been eyeing one, why not give it a try?

1st Place
"Speedmaster Commemorative Model Co-Axial Master Chronometer Chronograph 42MM"
"Ref.310.32.42.50.02.001
"

Taking the honorable first place is the limited edition "Speedmaster Commemorative Model Co-Axial Master Chronometer Chronograph 42MM" "Ref. 310.32.42.50.02.001" model released in 2020, which features an illustration of "Snoopy", NASA's mascot.

In 1970 , NASA awarded Omega with the Silver Snoopy Award for its great contribution to space exploration and the rescue of Apollo 13. This watch was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the award, and the small seconds hand at 9 o'clock gives it a casual impression. The back of the watch features a picture of the moon and earth floating in space, and when the chronograph is activated, the spaceship carrying Snoopy starts moving, creating a playful mechanism. Not only is it an interesting watch, but it is also an excellent asset. Not only does it have a pop design that goes well with casual clothing, but it is also a recommended watch that is likely to see price movements in the future.

summary

What did you think.

Many collaboration models with various organizations were ranked, but all of them were familiar and attractive. In addition, most of them are not regular models, but limited editions with limited numbers, so they are also attractive as assets. I look forward to the birth of collaboration models that utilize the brand power of [Omega] in the future.
