The "Ref. 5226G-001" was released in 2022 and features an 18KWG (white gold) case and a distinctive textured lacquered anthracite dial.
While retaining the beautiful, flowing case and integrated lugs, this watch has departed from the traditional classical design to incorporate a modern feel, making it perfect for casual styles.
The first thing that catches your eye is the textured lacquered anthracite dial, which is newly adopted for this watch. The rough texture makes you want to touch it, which is a new attempt that has not been seen in previous Patek Philippe watches. Furthermore, the gradation from the center to the outer periphery, the syringe-shaped hands that are reminiscent of a syringe, and the Arabic numerals combine to create an expressive finish.
By the way, the new Annual Calendar Travel Time "Ref. 5326G-001" has also been released in 2022 with the same dial specifications, but this simpler model seems to convey a more expressive look.
The "Clous de Paris" pattern, which is often used as a bezel decoration, is applied to the side of the case. However, this has previously only been used on "extraordinary models" such as the "Grand Complications." Considering this, you can really feel Patek Philippe's passion and attachment to this model.
The movement, "Cal. 26-330 SC," which can be viewed through the sapphire crystal skeleton back, is also installed in the "Nautilus" Ref. 5711 manufactured after 2019, and offers greater convenience with its hack function (second hand stop) and the elimination of the time period during which the date cannot be changed.
The genuine beige calfskin strap with nubuck finish is in excellent condition with almost no signs of use, and the included black calfskin strap with a hand-stitched embossed fabric pattern is unused. By switching between the straps, you can enjoy both classic and modern styles. It is also a recommended point.
The warranty date is December 2023. There are some minor scratches on the case that appear to have been caused during storage and trying on, and scratches on the back of the lugs that appear to have been caused when the belt was replaced, but it is in excellent condition with little signs of wear. All accessories are included, so we especially recommend this watch to anyone looking for one.
