hello everyone.
Today we have in stock two of Patek Philippe's most popular watches, the Nautilus and the Aquanaut, so we would like to introduce them to you.
As international demand is pushing up prices, the more popular and rarer models are becoming increasingly expensive. The two watches we are introducing this time are no exception, but we will be sharing the appeal of each watch one by one, so please enjoy until the end.
"Ref.5711/1R-001"
"Nautilus"
[18KRG*Rose Gold]
In 2015, the "Ref. 5711/1R-001" was announced as a version of the "Nautilus" three-hand model "Ref. 5711" made from different materials.
* "Ref.5711/1R-001" domestic suggested retail price 6,798,000 yen (tax included)
The official domestic retail price at the time of release (2015) was about 6.2 million yen (tax included). We have sold a few units relatively soon after we started Commit, but at the time they were priced at around 5 to 6 million yen, a price that would be unthinkable now.
The dial of the "Ref. 5711/1R-001" is a brown-black gradient dial that matches the warm 18KRG (rose gold) case very well. Like the 18KRG (rose gold) case of the "Aquanaut", the brown dial is a similar color and gives a calm impression, but it is a combination that gives off a lot of adult sexiness.
The skeleton back allows you to enjoy the high-performance movement "Cal. CH 28-520 IRM QA 24H", which was released in 2006 and is equipped with a chronograph with flyback function and an annual calendar.
Despite housing such a highly functional movement, the case is only 8.3mm thick, the same as the stainless steel model, and weighs less than 200g, making it comfortable to wear and easy to wear.
In terms of condition, there are slight scratches and minor marks on the case and bracelet due to use, but this is a one-owner item that is recommended as a non-polished item.
The warranty date is 2016. All accessories are included and the box is in very good condition.
The selling price is 19,800,000 yen (tax included)
The new SS (stainless steel) x green dial Nautilus announced this year was only produced for one year, and there are rumors that it may have already ended. It is possible that all Nautilus models will be renewed around next year. If that happens, production of the Ref. 5711/1R-001 may also end.
"Ref.5968A-001"
"Aquanaut Chronograph"
[SS*Stainless Steel]
The Ref. 5968A-001 is the first Aquanaut model to feature a chronograph with flyback function, announced as a new model in 2018.
Last time, we received inquiries from multiple customers immediately after posting it on our website, and it sold out in the blink of an eye. It is a very popular watch both in Japan and overseas.
The dial features a beautiful embossed motif with a black gradation, and the bright orange scattered throughout creates a three-dimensional effect, creating a perfect balance. Compared to the "Ref.5167", which was known for its simplicity, the "Ref.5168" added in 2017, and the "Ref.5164", which successfully incorporated the travel time mechanism, this watch is clearly flashy, but I think it is a watch that is packed with the new "goodness" of the "Aquanaut".
The case size is 42.2mm, the same jumbo size as the "Ref. 5168G-001" released in 2017 for the 20th anniversary of the "Aquanaut". Since it is a model equipped with a chronograph, the case thickness is 11.9mm. In addition, it has a chronograph start/reset button, which gives it an outstanding presence.
The skeleton back allows you to enjoy the "Cal. CH 28-520 C/528," which is based on the revolutionary automatic chronograph movement with flyback function that was featured in the "Annual Calendar Chronograph" released in 2006 and became a hot topic.
The warranty date is 2019. This is an unused item with only the black tropical band (rubber) cut to the size of the previous owner. All other accessories are included and it is in very good condition.
The selling price is 17,578,000 yen (tax included)
There are almost no domestic sales of this product, and even on overseas sales sites, the price is surprisingly high. This price is probably the cheapest in the world in this condition. (lol)
Compared to the official domestic sales price, this is an extremely premium price, but considering the current trend, it seems that prices will only continue to rise in the future.
summary
What did you think.
Both are popular models that have risen in price significantly, but prices are basically determined by the balance between supply and demand. Even though they are so expensive, there are still people who want them. This is a phenomenon unique to luxury watches that does not exist with mass-produced products.
Our store carries a wide range of Patek Philippe watches, including standard models as well as models with complex mechanisms and rare models.
