Good evening everyone.
This time, we would like to introduce a popular model that was sold exclusively at the recent major Patek Philippe event, "Watch Art Grand Exhibition Tokyo 2023," which has just arrived! Please read to the end!
"Ref.5330G-010"
"World Time Pointer Date" 18KWG
The "World Time" Ref. 5330G-010, featuring an unprecedentedly beautiful purple dial and limited to 300 pieces worldwide, was unveiled at Patek Philippe's major event, the "Watch Art Grand Exhibition (Tokyo 2023)."
This model is the first to feature a world time mechanism with a pointer date function, which automatically changes the date in conjunction with the local time, making it a revolutionary system. The design has also been carefully considered, with the pointer date hand made of transparent glass with only the tip in red, allowing it to function without compromising the beautiful design of the dial.
When you actually hold the watch in your hand, you hardly notice the pointer date hand, as it blends in so naturally, giving the watch a finish that exudes Patek Philippe's unique aesthetic sense and high level of technical skill.
The case size is 40mm, suitable for daily use, and the thickness is kept to 11.57mm, making it comfortable to wear and stress-free. Also, compared to the current model equipped with the "World Time" mechanism, the lugs have a more pronounced step shape, which gives it a very appealing look.
The dial is a vibrant and deep plum (purple) color, which is also the theme color of the exhibition. The center is decorated with delicate guilloche decoration, and combined with the sunray finish that reflects light radially, it shows a beautiful appearance.
The city display ring, which shows the 24 time zones, features the special red lettering "TOKYO," and the 24-hour display ring has been changed from the traditional "sun mark" to a "rising-day flag" design, symbolizing Japan. The aesthetic attention to detail and playfulness that can only be found in a limited edition model themed around Tokyo, the host city, can be seen everywhere.
The automatic movement "Ref. 240 HU C," which can be viewed through the sapphire crystal skeleton case back, is based on the "Cal. 240 HU" that has been installed in the original "World Time" "Ref. 5110," and features a unidirectional winding micro-rotor made of 22k gold. Furthermore, upon closer inspection of the sapphire crystal skeleton case back, the words "PATEK PHILIPPE-TOKYO" are engraved, adding to the special feel of the watch.
There is no warranty card, but the other accessories are in almost untouched condition. It has only been tried on a few times, so it is in excellent condition with only a few small scratches.
The selling price is 13,420,000 yen (tax included)
