Good evening everyone.

There is only one day left of Silver Week. How are you spending your time? There seems to be a lot more people in Ginza these days. We are very happy to see so many customers visiting our store every day. We will continue to take thorough measures against COVID-19 and create an environment where you can shop with peace of mind.

Well, in the last two posts, we introduced some of the memorable models of [Patek Philippe] that we have handled since the start of Commit Ginza until now. We introduced many models, but the thing you are most interested in is the price, right? (laughs) In response to such requests, this time we would like to announce the [Patek Philippe] "Past Sales Price Ranking".

When you think of Patek Philippe watches, you probably think of high-priced ones. Of course, this ranking will definitely meet your expectations, so we hope you'll enjoy it until the end.

*Rankings are based on models sold in stores (listed on the website).

*The current market evaluation and value of some watches may have changed.

*Depending on the condition of the watch at the time of sale, the price may vary.

The contents of this article are also introduced in the video below, so please take a look!

No. 10 "Ref.5131/1P-001"

Listed price at time of sale: 18,500,000 yen (excluding tax)

"World Time Cloisonné Ref. 5131 with a dial made of wire enamel"

This watch has a very impressive design that thoroughly pursues a classic style, including a world map on the dial beautifully painted with traditional cloisonné enamel, as well as hands and city name fonts that follow those of earlier models. In the center of the dial, a cloisonné enamel decoration is placed, depicting the Earth as seen from the North Pole for the first time. I was surprised that the last PT (platinum) version to be announced was a bracelet version. Not only is it produced in small numbers, it is also very difficult to obtain.

9th place: "Ref.5004R"

Listed price at time of sale: 19,900,000 yen (excluding tax)

"Perpetual Calendar Chrono Split 18KRG (Rose Gold) Ref.5004R"

The Grand Complication model "Ref.5004" is equipped with a perpetual calendar, split-second chronograph, and moon phase, and is a combination of an 18KRG (rose gold) case and a warm silver dial. Although the "Ref.5004" is often associated with a PT (platinum) case, the RG (rose gold) and YG (yellow gold) cases also give a soft impression and have a refined style, which I personally prefer.

No.8 "Ref.5970P-001"

Listed price at time of sale: 20,000,000 yen (excluding tax)

"Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Platinum Ref.5970P-001"

While inheriting the classical design of its predecessor, the Ref. 3970, it adopts the square push buttons seen in the first generation of the first perpetual calendar chronograph, the Ref. 1518, and the second generation, the Ref. 2499, and while increasing the size from 36mm to 40mm, it also has a tachymeter on the outer edge of the dial, maintaining an exquisite balance. With a PT (platinum) case and a black dial, it's a watch that anyone would definitely find cool.

No. 7 "Ref.5004P-021"

Listed price at time of sale: 21,500,000 yen (excluding tax)

"Perpetual Calendar Chronosplit Platinum Ref.5004P-021"

The "Ref. 5004" is a grand complication model equipped with a perpetual calendar, split-second chronograph, and moon phase. It has a simple combination of a platinum case and a silver dial, but it is easy to read and has a nice atmosphere. As I wrote in my introduction to some memorable watches, this is a watch that I have a lot of attachment to. I'm sure it was the cheapest in the world at the time (lol).

6th place: "Ref.5204P-010"

Listed price at time of sale: 27,200,000 yen (excluding tax)

"Perpetual Calendar Chronosplit Platinum 2012 New Ref.5204P-010"

Developed as the successor to the "Ref.5004", it is equipped with the new horizontal clutch type split second hand chronograph hand-wound caliber "Cal.CHR 29-535 PS Q", which was developed and manufactured entirely in-house. The larger diameter of the dial edge improves visibility, and the opaline dial is very beautiful and luxurious, giving it an overwhelming presence.

5th place: "Ref.5004P-033"

Listed price at time of sale: 27,500,000 yen (excluding tax)

"Perpetual Calendar Chronosplit Platinum Ref.5004P-033"

The Grand Complication model "Ref.5004" is equipped with a perpetual calendar, split-second chronograph, and moon phase. This model has a black dial with diamonds set into the indexes, giving it an even more luxurious feel.

4th place: "Ref.5078P-001"

Listed price at time of sale: 30,900,000 yen (excluding tax)

"Minute Repeater Platinum Ref.5078P-001"

The "Ref.5078P-001" model features a white enamel dial with beautifully printed Roman numerals on the railroad scale. The minute repeater, activated by the slide piece at the 9 o'clock position, can be seen in action through the see-through caseback. The sound is mysterious and moving.

3. "Ref.5204/1R-001"

Listed price at time of sale: 32,000,000 yen (excluding tax)

"Perpetual Calendar Chronosplit 18KRG Ref.5204/1R-001"

Released in 2017, this model features an 18KRG (rose gold) bracelet made of the same material as the case. This current model is still in production, and features a gorgeous 18KRG (rose gold) case and black dial. It's a sexy, solid model with a mature feel that's different from the YG (yellow gold) version.

2nd place: "Ref.5004G"

Listed price at time of sale: 36,350,000 yen (excluding tax)

"Perpetual Calendar Chronosplit 18KWG Ref.5004G"

The Ref.5004 is a grand complication model equipped with a perpetual calendar, split-second chronograph, and moon phase. The caliber CHR 27-70 Q was produced exclusively for Patek Philippe by the movement manufacturer Lemania, and was then finished by Patek Philippe as a fully in-house movement. The perfect design continues to fascinate watch lovers even though production has been discontinued for some time. Another notable feature of this model is the dial specifications. It has an unusual salmon-colored Arabic dial, making it a very rare specification.

(*The dial has been replaced with a salmon dial via Patek Philippe, and the archives also state that it is salmon.)

1st place: "Ref.5016P-018"

Listed price at time of sale: 66,600,000 yen (excluding tax)

"Minute Repeater Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Platinum Ref.5016P-018"

This model is equipped with a perpetual calendar, tourbillon, and minute repeater, all of which are said to be the most complicated mechanisms in watchmaking. The platinum case, Breguet numerals, and Breguet hands combine to make this a perfect and cool watch that is beyond reproach. The price is also something you can't complain about. (laughs)

summary

The above is the "Past Sales Price Ranking" of Patek Philippe , which we have been carrying since Commit Ginza opened. What do you think?

Although the ranking is based on the models sold in stores (listed on the website), I think it was a good selection.

By the way, the following 11th to 30th place also look interesting, so I'll think about whether I'll continue with them next time or whether I'll talk about something different (laughs).

I write a column every week, and I would like to thank you for reading this column. Please look forward to the next one.
