Good evening everyone.

Today, we would like to introduce a popular model that is rarely available on the market, which has arrived in "unused" condition. Please read to the end!

"Ref.5970P-001"
"Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" PT

The "Ref. 5970" was released at Baselworld in 2004 with an 18KWG (white gold) case and an 18KRG (rose gold) case.

This model is the successor to the third-generation "Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" "Ref. 3970," which was manufactured from 1986 to around 2004. It is a perfect finish in every respect, from the arrangement of the calendar, subdials, and moon phases on the dial to the balance of the tachymeter scale written around the outer edge of the dial.

Additionally, a model with an 18KYG (yellow gold) case was released in 2008, and a PT (platinum) case was released in 2009, so the variety was abundant and the watch became even more attractive.

When they were first released, they were relatively easy to see, but in recent years they seem to be less common. The production period of the "Ref. 5970" series was from 2004 to around 2010, which is about one-third of the production period of the "Ref. 3970", so there is no doubt that there are fewer units in circulation.

Among them, the "Ref. 5970P-001" with a PT (platinum) case and black dial had a production period of only about two years, so it is easy to see that the number produced was small.

The 18KWG, 18KRG, and 18KYG models have different case colors, but all have a silver dial with a black calendar display, subdials, tachymeter scale, and chronograph hand.

On the other hand, the PT (platinum) case is the only one with a black dial, so the parts on the dial are white. Also, the date display around the moon phase at 6 o'clock has numbers that are obviously larger than those of other materials, making it easier to read. This was probably done to differentiate the watch from the others, as it was the final model released.

The "Ref. 5970" combines the best features of previous models, such as the case and dial design and square chronograph buttons used in previous "Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" models, and by adopting a 40mm case, it has the most modern finish to date.

The movement that can be seen through the skeleton back is the famous "Cal. CH 27-70 Q" based on the Lemania chronograph movement "Cal. 2310". The highly refined movement created by Patek Philippe is one that you will never tire of looking at.

The condition is amazingly new! The protective sticker is still attached to the folding buckle. The accessories also include the original sleeve case with the movement/serial number sticker attached, and the case back and adjustment pins are in good condition. There are few on the market, and it is unlikely that a watch in such excellent condition will come on the market in the future.

The selling price is 14,960,000 yen (tax included)
