Good evening everyone.
As some of you may already know, the domestic regular sales price of Patek Philippe will increase by a whopping 12% from August. I think this is due to the impact of the global price hike, but the current price is already high, so to increase it by 12% is a headache just thinking about it. However, in terms of the secondary distribution market, this could be an opportunity to revitalize the market, so I'm looking forward to seeing future developments.
Well, this time we have a new Grand Complication model with an extremely attractive price, so we would like to introduce it to you. Please enjoy reading until the end!
"Ref.5270/1R-001"
"Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" 18KRG
The "Ref. 5270/1R-001" was released in 2018 with an 18KRG (rose gold) case and bracelet and a bold black dial.
The basic layout of the dial remains the same as previous Perpetual Calendar Chronograph models, but two new small windows have been added to display the day/night indicator and the leap year cycle.
Before we get into the main topic, let's take a quick look at the Perpetual Calendar Chronograph series.
* "Ref.5270G-001"
The first model, Ref. 5270G-001, was released in 2011 as the successor to the Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Ref. 5970 and is equipped with a fully in-house manufactured movement.
This watch has an opaline silver dial with black oxidized hour and minute hands, indexes, and a railway track around the outer edge of the dial, giving it a neat look, and was in production for approximately three years.
* "Ref.5270G-014"
The second generation "Ref. 5270G-013 (silver dial)" and "Ref. 5270G-014 (blue dial)" were released in 2014.
The hour and minute hands, sub-dial hands, and indexes were changed to silver color, and the design of the sub-dials at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock was also changed. The outer edge of the dial was also changed to a tachymeter, and the unique layout at 6 o'clock bulged downward, which made this model very popular. Unfortunately, it was a short-lived model that only lasted about a year, and is now very rare.
We currently have this rare blue dial in stock in our store as an unused item, so if you are interested, please take a look. ( ※Product page is here )
* "Ref.5270G-019"
* "Ref.5270R-001"
The third generation models, "Ref. 5270G-018 (silver dial)," "Ref. 5270G-019 (blue dial)," and "Ref. 5270R-001 (silver dial)," were released in 2015.
Until now, only 18KWG (white gold) material was available, but now 18KRG (rose gold) material has finally been added. The scale on the outer circumference of the dial has a layout that combines the first and second generations, and the overall design has been changed to one that is closer to the inside. The hands of the sub-dial (second hand, 30-minute counter hand, calendar display hand) have been changed from a leaf type to a more streamlined design, giving it a very neat appearance. And the scale of the calendar part at 6 o'clock, which was controversial in the second generation, has been changed to a cut design without bulging.
* "Ref.5270P-001"
Then in 2018, the long-awaited PT (platinum) material "Ref. 5270P-001 (salmon pink dial)" was released, followed by the original "Ref. 5270G-001". Nearly 10 years after its release, the "Ref. 5270/1R-001 (black dial)" that we are introducing this time has been released.
Now, let's return to the main subject, the Ref. 5270G-001.
I believe that a black dial is the most standard among luxury watches, but the combination of a gold case and bracelet with a black dial on such an exceptional model is actually extremely rare.
The movement that can be seen through the sapphire crystal skeleton back is the fully in-house manufactured Cal. CH 29-535 PS Q. Despite being equipped with a perpetual calendar mechanism, it is impressive that it is only about 7mm thick.
Although there are some scratches and small marks from use, the case and bracelet, which appear to have not been polished, are sturdy and make a very impressive piece.
The warranty date is June 2019. All accessories are included, including the box, pass case, and booklets.
*The box is genuine, but it is not for the same model.
The selling price is 23,980,000 yen (tax included)

It is in good condition and the selling price is very attractive, so if you are looking for it, we recommend you take this opportunity to purchase it. If you are interested, please contact us as soon as possible.
summary
What did you think.
The selling price of the "Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" "Ref. 5270/1R-001" introduced this time is really attractive, and it is a model that can be expected to rise in the market price in the future. I do not mean to stir up the market, but I would like to keep a close eye on how it will change after the regular selling price increase in August.
The hot weather is still continuing, but we would like to continue introducing models that will lift your spirits, so please look forward to the next Patek discussion!
see you!
