Good evening everyone.
This year's Golden Week holiday was blessed with good weather, with many warm days that made it seem as if summer had finally arrived. The streets of Ginza were overflowing with more people than we had expected, and many customers visited our store every day right after we opened. We would like to thank all of our regular customers and those who came to Tokyo during this holiday.
Well, today, we would like to introduce our second super rare model "Nautilus" "Ref. 5711/1A-014" *Green dial, which has just arrived in our store. Please stay with us until the end.
"Ref.5711/1A-014"
"Nautilus" SS
The rare Nautilus Ref. 5711/1A-014 was said to have been produced in a one-off run of around 50 pieces in 2021.
Green dials are now used by many brands, but this model's green color shows various expressions depending on the amount of light. When viewed under warm light or in low light, the color appears to be a "blackish green, " and when viewed under natural light or in high light, it appears to be an " olive green ."
Before getting into the main topic, I would like to briefly talk about the history of the Nautilus, from its birth to the present day.
In 1976, the first Nautilus, commonly known as the “Jumbo”, Ref. 3700/1, was released, equipped with the Jaeger-LeCoultre-based movement, Cal. 28-255C.
Various derivative models have been released since then, but the only true successor to the original is the Nautilus Ref. 5711/1A-001, released in 2006.
This watch, released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its birth, features a stainless steel case with a gradated blue-black dial, the Cal.315 SC AIG.1 movement, the Geneva Seal mark, and the bracelet links are screw-type. At some point, the movement was changed to Cal.324 SC, and the Patek Philippe Seal, which has its own extremely strict certification standards that exceed those of the Geneva Seal established in 2009, was engraved on it.
In addition, the bracelet links have changed from screws on both sides to pins that can be removed by knocking them out, and the branch number has been changed to "Ref. 5711/1A-010." The color of the dial has also become more blue and glossy.
Also, although we are not sure of the exact date, the "PATEK PHILIPPE GENEVE" inscription on the dial has been slightly lowered since the units manufactured around 2017. ( Photo above : left: 2013 unit, right: 2020 unit )
After that, watches manufactured after 2019 will be equipped with the new movement "Cal. 26-330 SC", which will have a hacking function (second hand stop) and will eliminate the period during which the date cannot be changed.
Then in 2021, the "Ref. 5711/1A-014" that we will introduce this time was released as the successor to the "Ref. 5711/1A-010", which was sadly discontinued.
Compared to the "Ref. 5711/1A-010," the dial color and the use of 18KWG (white gold) for the date window frame give the impression of a more luxurious feel. ( The current model of the "Nautilus," the "Ref. 5811/1G-001," also uses 18KWG for the date window frame. ) It's not well known, but the bar indexes and hands are also made of 18KWG (white gold).
The movement that can be seen through the skeleton back with sapphire crystal is the "Cal.26-330 SC" that has also been used in the "Ref.5711/1A-010" since 2019. With the addition of a hack function (stop second function) and the elimination of the prohibited time period for changing the date, its practicality has increased dramatically.
The warranty date is April 2021. There are some small scratches and inconspicuous marks on the bracelet that appear to have been caused during storage, but the item is in mint condition and has never been worn.

When we first stocked it in our store, the market price was at its highest and the selling price was nearly double, so I think it is a great bargain compared to then. Also, there are fewer of these on the market, so if you are looking for one, I highly recommend you take this opportunity to purchase it.
summary
What did you think.
Although it is an ultra-luxury watch, the Ref. 5711/1A-014 is actually a watch for daily use that combines robust construction and 120m water resistance. As I have said many times before, it is an ultra-rare model that is rarely seen, so it would not be surprising if it goes on sale at any time! If you are interested, please contact us as soon as possible! Also, if you would like to see it with your own eyes, please come to our store!
see you!
