Good evening everyone.
It feels like the number of warm days is increasing, with some days recording summer temperatures during the day, and the weather has suddenly become summery. It's a comfortable weather even in short sleeves, so I hope you'll decorate your wrist with a beautiful watch.
Well, today we would like to introduce the new " Nautilus " Ref. 5811/1G-001 for fall 2022, which has arrived in our store for the first time! Please read to the end.
"Ref.5811/1G-001"
"Nautilus" 18KWG
The new Nautilus Ref. 5811/1G-001 was announced in the fall of 2022 with a 41mm case diameter and 18KWG (white gold) case, inheriting the design of the Nautilus Ref. 5711, which has sadly been discontinued.
The highly talked-about "Ref. 5711/1A-018" was released in 2021 as a double-branded Patek Philippe x Tiffany watch. It seemed like the Nautilus had finally come to an end, but it suddenly appeared the following year without any warning, causing watch enthusiasts to erupt in joy.
Now, before getting into the main topic, I would like to briefly review the lineage of the Nautilus "Ref. 5711" series.
In 2006, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus, the Ref. 5711/1A-001 was released with a stainless steel case, a gradated blue-black dial, and three hands. The movement was the Cal. 315 SC AIG.1, the movement was engraved with the Geneva Seal, and the bracelet links were screw-type.
*Around 2006 to 2008: Equipped with "Cal.315 SC AIG.1".
*It was later changed to "Cal.324 SC". The Patek Philippe Seal, which has its own extremely strict certification standards that exceed those of the Geneva Seal established in 2009, is now engraved on the watch.
Later, the bracelet links were changed from screws on both sides to pins that were removed by knocking them out, and the branch number was changed to "Ref. 5711/1A-010".
Then, in 2012, the "Ref. 5711/1A-011" was released in a refreshing white color.
It was popular due to its completely different atmosphere from the blue-black dial, but unfortunately production will be discontinued in 2020.
By the way, we are currently (as of April 24, 2023) carrying the even rarer "TIFFANY & CO." double-name model, so please take this opportunity to check it out.

Three years later, in 2015, the "Ref. 5711/1R-001" was released with an 18KRG (rose gold) case and a brown-black gradient dial of the same color.
Unfortunately, this model also ended production last year after a production period of about seven years. Compared to the SS (stainless steel) case, the number of units produced is clearly smaller.

And in 2021, the "Ref. 5711/1A-014" was released with an olive green dial, making it a fitting finale for the SS (stainless steel) case.
This particular watch was only produced in one shot, making it extremely rare, but there is also the even rarer "Ref. 5711/1300A" with a 32-baguette diamond bezel. I'm envious of those who have simply managed to get their hands on one. (laughs) I hope you'll come and see it at our store!
Now that we have covered the genealogy of the "Ref. 5711" series, let's return to the main subject of the "Ref. 5811/1G-001" we will be introducing today.
The case diameter has increased from 40mm in the "Ref. 5711" series to 41mm, but the case thickness has been reduced from 8.3mm to 8.2mm, as the watch has returned to the two-piece structure used in the original "Nautilus" "Ref. 3700".
The SS (stainless steel) model weighs about 120g, while the 18KWG (white gold) model weighs just under 210g. Although it is a little heavier, there is not much difference in the wearing comfort, and I think it actually feels more luxurious when worn.
The movement that can be seen from the skeleton back is the "Cal. 26-330 SC," which was also installed in the "Ref. 5711" that was manufactured from 2019 to 2021. It has a hack function (second hand stop) and there is no longer a time period during which the date cannot be changed.
The bracelet also has a new function that allows you to easily extend both sides of the base of the buckle by 2 mm. Of course, it also has a lock, so it is designed to prevent it from stretching or shrinking on its own. With the previous Nautilus, you couldn't fine-tune the size, so you had to purchase additional links, but this is no longer necessary, which is a nice feature.
The warranty date is January 2023. Although there are some small scratches that appear to have been caused during storage, it is in excellent condition with no signs of wear. Of course, all accessories are included, so it is also suitable for collections.
The selling price you are interested in is...
That's what I wanted to say, but it sold before I could post this column... sorry!!!
