The dial is made of solid silver, the time bridge is made of rhodium-plated German silver and the hands are made of rhodium-plated gold.

Zeitwerk was released in 2009. Unlike ordinary mechanical watches, this watch uses a combination of numbers from 0 to 9 to display the time, and uses an "instantaneous numbers mechanism" developed exclusively for Zeitwerk.

The jumping numerals mechanism consists of a large hour ring that almost matches the diameter of the movement and two minute discs, one for the tens digits and one for the units digits, all of the numerals are the same size and arranged so that they can be read from left to right.
