A Note from the Appraiser

While there are scuffs and scratches from use, the case and bezel edges are sharp and well-preserved.
The ivory dial with "Center Split" notation has minor scuffs and scratches that are not noticeable, but overall it is in good condition with a rich color and excellent atmosphere. This rich ivory dial model is becoming increasingly rare, and the asking price is attractive, so we encourage anyone looking for one to consider it.

This is a higher-end model of the Explorer, developed from a model for explorers to a model for cave explorers. It emphasizes durability and functionality, and is equipped with a date function, crown guard, and a distinctive 24-hour hand.

The movement evolved from "Cal. 1570" to "Cal. 3085," which allows the hour hand to move independently. The 24-hour hand is equipped with a GMT function, allowing the watch to keep track of two time zones.

There are variations in the dial color, and this is a rare cream-colored "ivory dial."
