Although it went dormant for a time, Blancpain is the world's oldest watch brand, founded in 1735.
Blancpain's signature sports model is the Fifty Fathoms, which is said to be "the world's first automatic diver's watch," according to various theories.

It is waterproof to 300m and uses a silicon hairspring, so it is non-magnetic and resistant to shocks and temperature changes. It is a rare triple barrel with three barrels, and has a power reserve of 5 days = 120 hours, making it very practical.

This diver's watch was originally produced in 1953 for the French Navy's special diving forces.
The large 45mm case features a sapphire crystal bezel and the indexes are coated with Super-LumiNova luminous material, providing excellent visibility at night or under the sea.
