The case has some wear and scratches appropriate for its age, but is in good condition. The popular black lettering/big red dial has some loss of luminescence and the sub-dials have deteriorated over time, but it remains in relatively good condition. This is a popular hand-wound Daytona with well-matched parts, so if you are looking for one, please consider purchasing this one.

The Cosmograph Daytona, introduced in 1963, was a model designed to meet the needs of professional race car drivers.
As the ultimate practical watch for those passionate about driving and speed, 60 years after its creation, it remains unparalleled among sports chronographs and continues to transcend time.

This "Ref. 6265" is the third generation Daytona that was introduced around 1971. It has screw-in push buttons, water resistance upgraded from 30m to 50m, and is equipped with the perfected Cal. 727 manual-winding chronograph movement.

The combination of a black dial and white subdials creates a nice vintage feel.
