This is a new single shield that has never been opened from the plastic it was shipped in.
The 18KWG case with black dial is rarely seen on the market, and it is currently difficult to find one in this condition for sale, and it is unlikely to come along in the future.
It also comes with the original sleeve case that it was delivered in, which has a sticker with the movement and serial number on it, and all the accessories are included, making it an ideal and recommended addition to your collection.

The Ref. 3970 is the successor to the modern classic Ref. 2499 and has been a best-seller since its release in 1986.

Model features

A rare and popular model that was discontinued in 2004. It is equipped with the "Cal. CHR 27-70 Q", an ebauche Lemania movement.

Product design

This was the first Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronograph to add leap year and 24-hour indications, and despite the more complex mechanism inside, it was the first in the perpetual calendar chronograph family to be smaller in size, going from 37.5mm to 36mm.
