A Note from the Appraiser

Although there are some minor scuffs from use and inconspicuous small scratches, the bracelet shows no stretch, and the case and bracelet are solid, making for an overall excellent impression, close to unpolished.
This is an early model, "Ref. 16628," featuring the Submariner case and unidirectional rotating bezel seen in the initial production. The tritium lume has developed a strong patina, creating a semi-vintage atmosphere.
With a full set of accessories, this piece is highly recommended for those who are looking for one.
It has been overhauled by our affiliated workshop.

The first "YACHT-MASTER", launched in 1992, was available only in gold. It was a step above the rest, crafted for celebrities enjoying beach resorts, and unusually for a sports model, it used 18K yellow gold as its material.

It was the only sports model available in women's and boy's sizes in addition to men's. Unlike previous sports models, this model was introduced as a luxury version of a diver's model, emphasizing opulence and elegance.
