Product Background

When it was released in 1956, it was the world's first wristwatch to display the date and the day of the week in full. ,It is Rolex's highest-end model, available only in rare materials such as gold and platinum. ,The bracelet that comes with it is called the "President Bracelet" after it was sent to the then US President Eisenhower.

The "Ref. 18038A" is the first model to allow the day of the week to be changed in addition to the date.
