The Royal Oak Offshore was born in 1992 (introduced at Baselworld in 1993), about 20 years after the Royal Oak was introduced in 1972. Based on the first Royal Oak created by Gerald Genta, the design was done by Emmanuel Guillet, a young in-house designer at the time.

The 42mm case diameter and impressive case thickness give it a strong presence, and the crown and push buttons are made of black ceramic.

This model features a heavy pink gold case and a "Mega Tapisserie" dial of the same color, giving it a very gorgeous impression.
