Product Background

When it was introduced in 1956, it was the world's first wristwatch to display the date and the day of the week in full.
This is Rolex's top-of-the-line model, available only in rare materials such as gold and platinum.

Model features

It is equipped with Cal.3055, a day-date dedicated movement that was created as an evolution of Cal.1556.
The watch is equipped with a quick-change function that allows the day of the week to be adjusted independently by rotating the hands in the opposite direction once the clock strikes midnight and then moving them forward again.

Product design

This watch has a unique bezel and center links with a quilted pattern called Berg.
