In 1945, to commemorate Rolex's 40th anniversary, the "Datejust" automatic wristwatch was introduced as the world's first to feature a date mechanism that instantaneously changed around midnight.

The movement is powered by the Calibre 2236, offering a power reserve of approximately 55 hours and excellent durability. The 28mm case features Rolesor, a combination of Oystersteel and Everose gold, resulting in a model that balances luxury and practicality.
