Product Background

Capek is a watch manufacturer founded in Geneva in 1845 by Francois Capek, a Czech court watchmaker who was favored by Emperor Napoleon III. This watch is the new Capek watch that was revived in 2011, inheriting his legacy.
"Antarctic", which means Antarctica, is an up-and-coming luxury sports model that is highly popular.

Model features

Passage de Drake is named after Sir Francis Drake, the British explorer who is said to have circumnavigated the globe.
The date display is placed at the 6 o'clock position, embodying Capek's aesthetic based on vertical symmetry.

Product design

It features a unique Franke dial that combines three-dimensional guilloché engraving with an atypical trapezoid motif that creates an overall play of light and shadow.
The hands feature a sporty, easy-to-read design reminiscent of a sword, and the watch is fitted with an ergonomic, brushed integrated bracelet with "C" links, giving it a unique look.
