Product Background

Since its introduction in 1956, the Day-Date has established a reputation as Rolex's top-line watch.
Available only in gold or platinum, the Day-Date is also known as the world's first calendar wristwatch to display the full day of the week.

Model features

The barrel in which the main spring is stored has been completely redesigned, and the power reserve has been extended to about three days, thanks to the efficiency of the newly adopted Chronergy escapement. The in-house developed movement "Cal.3255" has obtained 14 patents and its accuracy standard is set to about twice that of the previous chronometer.

Product design

This model is attractive with its rare lapis lazuli dial, diamond-studded bezel, white gold case, and luxurious design, including the President bracelet, a hallmark of the highest-end line.
