Born in 1945, the Datejust has established a long history as Rolex's iconic classic watch collection. The Ref. 1601/8 is a vintage model crafted from 18K yellow gold. It is a timepiece that offers classic charm, blending the functionality of a practical watch with the splendor of solid gold.

Equipped with the self-winding Caliber 1570, this Datejust displays the hours, minutes, and seconds, as well as the date at the 3 o’clock position under a Cyclops lens. It is a luxurious piece that pairs a movement renowned for its robustness and stability with an 18K yellow gold case. Its vintage proportions, which differ from current models, are another part of its charm.

The elegant design features an 18K yellow gold case paired with a matching champagne dial. It incorporates iconic Datejust elements such as the fluted bezel, baton hour markers, and a date display at 3 o'clock. The leather strap adds a lightweight feel, allowing this solid gold model to exude a refined dress style.
