A Note from the Appraiser

There are some scratches and scuffs from use, but the case is very sturdy considering its age.
This is a rare and popular dimpled dial found in the early "Ref. 2526" watches, commonly known as "Tropical." The enamel dial is crack-free and in very good condition.
The original is fitted with a leather strap, but this is an attractive example that comes with a Gay Flair PP bracelet that is appropriate for the period.
The leather strap also comes with an 18K yellow gold PP buckle appropriate for the watch's age.
It is extremely rare on the market, so we highly recommend it to anyone looking for one.
